Hinduism And Hindu Theology - What Is Annakut?



Annakut, literally, "food mountain", is a Sanskrit word that means "mountain of food."


  • On the day following the Diwali festival (October–November), a Northern Indian celebration is held. 
  • Govardhan Puja is the common name for this event.
