Hinduism - Where Is The Sacred Kapalamochana In India?

("the skull is being released") In the northern area of Benares, there is a bathing (snana) tank and a religious place (tirtha).

When the wrathful deity Bhairava chops off the fifth head of the god Brahma, insulting the god Shiva, the skull adheres to Bhairava's palm as a visible symbol of his crime, according to Hindu mythology.

Bhairava visits all of the earth's sacred spots in an attempt to free himself of the skull, but to no effect.

When he gets at Kapalamochana, the skull falls from his grip spontaneously, freeing him from his crime.

Kapalamochana is the holiest spot on the planet, according to this deed.
