Pagan Religions - Who Are The Pagan AIR Gods?

These gods are connected with meteorological events in pagan religions, particularly winds, thunder and lightning, rain, and storms.

  • Shu was the Egyptian deity of the air.
  • Boreas was the anthropomorphic wind deity in Greek and Roman mythology.
  • The winds were dubbed "Snatchers" in Greece because they were thought to be maleficent.
  • Adad or Rammon was the storm deity in Assyro-Babylonian religion.
