(“superiority”) One
of the eight superhuman abilities (siddhi) that is historically said to be
obtained by a person who has attained a high level of spiritual attainment.
The control over matter (prakrti), which is one of the two
principles of the Samkhya philosophical system, is the source of this power.
This mastery of fundamental matter enables the creation, destruction, and rearrangement of material things.
