Nathamuni is a Hindu (10th c.) Compiler of the Nalayira Divyaprabandham, often known as the "Tamil Veda," which is a collection of Alvar hymns.
Nathamuni was also a key player in the subsequent
development of the Shrivaishnava religious group, where the Alvar hymns'
impassioned devotion found more methodical intellectual expression.
Nathamuni's grandson was Yamunacharya, the teacher of
Ramanuja, the greatest Shrivaishnava figure, according to legend.
