Samasthana

 

In yoga, a sitting posture in which the legs are bent and the soles of the feet are pushed flat against each other, with the outside edges of the feet touching the ground.

Utkutikasana is a yoga pose that is similar to utkutikasana.

Samavartana ("return") is a Sanskrit word that means "to return." Samskara The fourteenth of the life-cycle rites (samskaras), which marks the conclusion of a young man's existence as a celibate student (brahmacharin) and his return to his family.

The bath is the most essential part of this process, following which the young man changes into new garments, symbolizing his new rank.

Before executing the ritual, the young man should seek permission from his guru and pay him his teacher's fee (dakshina), both as money for services done and as a gesture of respect.

The young guy generally marries soon following his return to his birthplace.

Due to the loss of the traditional paradigm of the brahmacharin stage of life in current times, this ceremony is not widely followed, however it is sometimes conducted in preparation for a marriage.
