Shrivatsa

An auspicious mark on the god Vishnu's chest, which can also be found on Vishnu's form as Krishna and is described as a mole or a curl of hair.

The Shrivatsa is usually depicted as a four-petaled flower in statues and paintings, and it is thought to be the kaustubha jewel, one of the precious things churned from the Ocean of Milk alongside the goddess Lakshmi, the wishing-cow Surabhi, and amrta, the immortality nectar.
