The eight are often shown as a group, although they may also be seen separately:
- Vijaya ("victory") Lakshmi,
- Jaya ("conquest") Lakshmi,
- Dhana ("wealth") Lakshmi,
- Dhanya ("grain") Lakshmi,
- Gaja ("elephant") Lakshmi,
- Aishvarya ("divine power") Lakshmi,
- Vina (musical instrument) Lakshmi,
- Raja ("royal") Lakshmi.
