Hinduism - Who Are The Utkala brahmins?

The Kanaujias, Maithilas, Gaudas, and Saraswats are the other four northern brahmin communities (Pancha Gauda); the others are the Kanaujias, Maithilas, Gaudas, and Saraswats.

Utkala brahmins are only located around the coast of Orissa, on the Bay of Bengal, but their ceremonial control over pilgrimage destinations, particularly the city of Puri, has helped them maintain their status as an important sect.
