Hinduism - Who Are The Pancha Gauda Brahmins?

 


The Kanaujias, Maithilas, Utkalas, and Saraswats are the four northern brahmin communities (Pancha Gauda); 

The other four are the Kanaujias, Maithilas, Utkalas, and Saraswats.

Gauda brahmins are most common in northern India's western half, particularly in the western regions of the states of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, as well as Haryana and Rajasthan.
