Hinduism - Who Is Kubja In Hindu Mythology?

(“hunchback”) Kubja is a hunchbacked lady that Krishna encounters on his way to recover his kingdom in the city of Mathura, according to Hindu legend.

Kubja brings a jar of precious ointment intended for the king, but she gladly offers it to Krishna when he requests for some.

Krishna straightens her spine and transforms her into a beautiful young lady as a reward for her charity and devotion.
