Hinduism - Where Does The Kaveri Flow?

Kaveri River also known as Cauvery, is a river in southern India originating in the Coorg Cauvery catchment area amidst the Malabar Mountain range.

It traverses through the southern state of Karnataka before entering into the state of Tamil Nadu.

Cauvery is personified and revered as the Goddess Cauvery in the Hindu pantheon.

The river is a critical life giving source, providing drinking water and irrigation for millions in the area who depend on it for their survival.
