Hinduism - What Are Symbolic Iconic Images In Hindu Iconography?


A graphical or figurative resemblance of a god, such as a statue or painting, is known as a iconic image.

In contrast, there is no such representational picture in an aniconic image, and the relationship between image and god is symbolic.
