Hinduism - Who Is A Parivrajaka In Hindu Spirituality?

Parivrajaka comes from the Sanskrit parivraj, "to wander around".

Any wandering religious mendicant is referred to as a mendicant.

Wandering indefinitely is an ancient Indian spiritual practice.

It demonstrates an intentional rejection of the householder's fixed and stable reality, particularly in early cultures, and it prohibits the wanderer from building any kind of attachments, even to locations.

This exemplifies the dharma literature's fourth and final stage of existence, the sanyasi, in which a person has relinquished all attachments to ordinary life in order to seek spiritual accomplishment.
