Pujari

The term pujari means "one who does puja (worship)" in its most fundamental sense.

In principle, this term might apply to any worshiper, but in practice, it has a more limited connotation.

It generally refers to a guy who earns his living by conducting religious rites, either as a temple priest or as a religious "technician" hired to execute ceremonies for others.
