Hinduism - What Is Tribhanga?

("three pauses") One of the most well-known stances in Indian dance and sculpture, in which the body's line has three distinct breaks or changes in direction.

The body's weight is mostly supported on one foot in this posture, with the matching knee and shoulder pointing to one side and the hips pointing in the other way.
