Hinduism - Who Is Murali?

Murali is the deity Krishna's flute, according to Hindu mythology.

The sound of this flute has an appealing aspect that is seductive to Krishna's worshippers, as described in sectarian literature such as the Bhagavata Purana and many vernacular devotional (bhakti) poetry (bhakta).

They rush to Krishna's presence when they hear the tune.

Krishna's alluring presence is considered as an extension of the flute and its siren voice.
